Some people ask how can a motor oil claim a drain interval up to 25,000 miles or 1 year?
The answer comes in 3 parts.
First:
(The Truth) You use AMSOIL motor oil and SDF oil filter. At the 6 months or 12,000 miles you will need to change the oil filter and add one quart of oil.
Second:
AMSOIL does not break down chemically nor does it burn-off as conventional petroleum based motor oils. A petroleum based motor oil can burn-off up to 25% of its volume due to high temperatures. When you burn-off that volume of oil you are basically left with sludge. AMSOIL volume will loose a maximum of 5% of its volume. The "good stuff" is replenished with the addition of the one quart of oil at 6 months.
Third:
